Yea in the summer. Bid package mostly sucks in the winter especially if you are junior.

You probably complain about our SFO hotel too huh?

Not out of the ordinary to be late to the jet after pickup because of traffic.I didn't bid any layovers there less than 16 hrs. Safety wide I'd say use common sense like in any big city and you'll be alright.

STI Hotel rooftop infinity pool is very nice. Food in restaurant downstairs cheap. Free breakfast. City is safe but not much to do outside of Hotel.
You just summed up my 3 years on the 737.

Some people are just triggered by homeless people. SFO Hotel rooms are a little small but location is pretty good and gym is nice. Uber/Lyft is great and a ton to do around the city. Or rent a car and explore wine country. Never a dull time on the West Coast. Depending on the time of the year catch a 49ers/Warriors/Giants game an option too.

Yeah because the majority of the homeless have mental issues and drug problems. It’s not a safe environment to be around.

Its a major US city, theres gonna be a homeless person or two, just dont go to the tenderloin. Its a beautiful city, perfect weather year round, tons of stuff to do. I swear some people see one homeless person and think their life is in danger.

Or just bid avoid it and save some for the rest of us. Just don't be that guy that talks crap about the city in front of the van driver or the SFO based flight attendants.

My favorite most cringey thing is when commuters try to tell people who live in NYC, LAX, or SFO how dangerous and horrible their city/state is because they somehow know better than the actual people who live there from what they've seem on tv or read on some alarmist website.

if you’re seeing a lot of homeless in SFO, you definitely walked in the wrong direction from the hotel. Or spending too much time on Fox News.

That's just a fact of life now. Almost every overnight we have in the US had a homeless problem. It's not unique to the west coast.
