LGA Redcoat
Looks like a Delta redcoat made the news. My link broke and couldn’t delete thread, so I’ll just leave this here.

My own $0.02 as a member of the LGBTQ community myself...the passenger was looking for a fight and escalated the confrontation. The redcoat diffused the situation professionally in a New York minute.
I find the more I cut "news" from social media out of my life, the easier it is.

Wow. The passenger claims that was a "human rights violation", is it any wonder these activists are becoming more and more a laughing stock of society. Kudos to the employee, they handled it very well.

Obviously the days of the Captain walking through the cabin like in the Airport 73'/ 75' movies with Charelton Heston or Dean Martin and greeting everyon during flight have long been extinct since 9/11 but even on the ground at the gate I refuse to go back in the cabin and "talk" to anyone . I brief the flight attendants to let us know if any issues arise at the gate and we will call red coat or police . The days of the 60's, 70's ,80's and 90's in which pilots could interact with passengers on the ground or in the air are long gone and never to return . The good ole romantic days of flying are long gone .
