Uhh, quite simple. Occam's razor. The company wanted it. We got nothing in return. MEC Chairman in the past have been booted for less. How DH is still the chair baffles me. Actually I know why, but I'm not going to post it here becasue I'll get another infraction.
PS -still waiting to hear what we're going to do about "the letter", you know the emergency meeting DALPA had on Oct 27th to discuss......crickets.

part of the M7 agreement was that the company would create an automated report via iCrew by 02Jun, but would do it manually until then.
”This automation programming will be accomplished no later than June 2, 2024. Until then, a manual report will be run daily and posted on DeltaNet for the pilot group to see.”

Filed ACE report, Union saw the 23.M.7 violation, submited to the company....got the harmed pilot almost 24hrs of additional pay (albeit months later).
Theft indeed!

Just a few months ago, after the batch size settlement where they pinky promised to fill out the 23.M.7 report, I caught them not doing it. I filed two seaprate crew assist cases pointing out the error and both times the cases were closed with zero remarks.

Wow. That’s, totally unacceptable. There has got to be punitive consequences to the company for this kind of double theft.

I've looked at the 23.M.7. report a few times just to see how it's being reported. It seemed very short to me and I wondered how accurate it is and how can we really verify they are being done correctly? I am convinced the reporting requirement did very little. It comes down to each scheduler making an assignment to self report and there is no incentive to do that, probably a deterant to reporting if anything. I have no idea if "automating" it will catch it all when it comes down to the discretion of each individual scheduler. More intentional noncompliance in my opinion.

for example building a reserve rotation out of base for the proper step but covering with a white slip would not be an M7.
