I use the COSTCO CITI bank card for gas (4% cash back), restaraunts (3% cash back) and COSTCO TRAVEL for rental cars and some hotel rooms (2% + 2%.)
I've been using the FIDELITY CASH BACK (2% cash depositited into my brokerage account) card for everything else.

In order of usage;
Green Fidelity card $0: 2% on everything
Costco Visa $120/yr: OAL airline travel, 3/4% on gas, 3% dining, 2% Costco
Citi Custom Cash $0: 5% up to $500/month on primary spend category (Groceries)
Bonvoy Boundless $90/yr: one free room per year plus decent rewards on room charges at Delta layovers. Crazy good rewards on Marriott stays
AMEX Delta Gold $0: good rewards on DAL tix
I gave up on the lounge stuff after I moved to base.

Necro post here. Flew with an FO several years ago that was a points junky. If I remember correctly, he would buy several thousands of prepaid cards on whatever points card he wanted to add to. He'd then deposit the prepaid cards back into his checking account to pay bills. Anyone else do this?

US Bank has a 4% cash back card with $0 annual fee if you meet the $100k deposit requirement. IIRC it could be something as simple as a rollover IRA or self managed investment account. 3% cash back is available with a lower deposit requirement.
