Best Credit Card
Hello everyone. I'd like your opinion on the best credit card to use given our profession. Currently my wife and I use the Costco card and receive a decent cash back check every Feb or so but we are getting tired of Costco and may not renew our membership there. If we don't, then there's really not much of a point in keeping their Visa. What are your suggestions? Any secrets? Thanks a lot.

The card has rewards points also, and I get probably $1000/year to spend, either back on the card, or as Amazon points, or gift cards, or...
Also, if you are still in the Guard/Reserve, you can call and they will waive/credit the membership fee, making the card free. Depending on how much you spend, they may give you all/part of the annual fee as a credit as well for "customer loyalty".

Citi double cash, 2% cash back no limits (1% purchases 1% payments). No rewards or other perks, but it’s the best cash back out there that I have found, and there’s no fee. I have a handful of store branded cards that offer 5% back for in-house purchases, and use the chase marriott card for international purchases.

As a commuter, I love my Chase Sapphire Reserve. The extra perks and benefits have made it worth it for me. Additionally, since the majority of my expenses on that card are travel (restaurants, etc), I always get 3x points.

I just signed up for this. I think the constant 2% cash back is better for us than the 1% with quarterly 5% categories that half the time I forget to sign up for. I also like that this card has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees.
