all the PWA said was that it has to be discussed within 60 days. That was met. There are monthly discussions with the company on it. The big hangup right now is the company is migrating their stuff to oracle, so we are expecting Q2 this year.

Thank you for the insight.

Need to tighten up this kind of language on next contract. Might as well not even bother with it if no real implementation date.

I don't think I'd go that far. Getting access to API data is a critically important gain, even if it does take a little longer due to CrewMod, feet dragging, or whatever excuse they come up with.

I get your point, but it's definitly worth the bother.

I think it is an important ask. But if we all agree it is so important then why no time frame? Even if it was years out?

I don't know, I'm not on the negotaiting committee. Perhaps it was because this was the only language the company would agree to. Perhaps it's becuase they don't really know the answer. Perhaps it's because they knew CrewMod was coming, and were reluctant to put a contractual timeline given the uncertainties around the transition.

Again, I get your point, and normally I'd be swaying back and forth with the choir on holding the company to a firm timeline with consquences, else it won't get done. But on this one issue, with so many variables, getting a hard timeline may not have been possible (not that mgmt wouldn't blow though it for pennies on the Benjamin anyway...)

I get your point. But agree to disagree. No timeline then Company won’t do it. We could even have said get this within six months of CrewMod etc. I would love to be proven wrong.
