Assets under management isn't what most would consider fee only
Fee only is an industry standard term to include AUM.

If anyone wants investment advice, I only charge 1% of your portfolio, yearly. And I have a 50/50 chance of beating whatever index you want! No guarantees though. PM me for wiring instructions.

STRV is an ETF. You can automate BrokerageLink purchases of mutual funds since they always trade at end of day NAV, but you can't automate buys of Exchange Traded Funds.

Boglehead 3-Fund portfolio: VTI, VXUS, & BND (or mutual fund equivalents) at ratios that make sense to you for risk tolerance and/or home country bias. Job done.

https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Three-fund_portfolio

Fidelity has default index equivalents for VXUS & BND, and you can approximate VTI with roughly 85% S&P500 Index and 15% US Small/Mid Index for that slice.

I do 50% SP and 50% small/mid with 27 years to go. Reason to weigh S&P so much heavier at 85%? Just curious

I used to play this approximation game. Now I use Brokeragelink to buy FSKAX (total market fund) and done. Simpler than trying to keep that other method balanced.

If you want a sure-fire way to get the hottest stocks.

Buy an index fund... they'll be in there.

Market weighting to approximate Vanguard Total Stock Market index. Nothing wrong with a small cap tilt if that's your preference.

That also works very well. I have another account that is all S&P 500 index due to poor fund choices, so the small/mid index in the 401k helps me maintain my overall portfolio targets.
