Yeah, but is that check accurate?

I think it's very important that we all follow the uniform policy. Personally, I adhere the uniform policy just as closely as Delta adheres the PWA.

PS. I wore the blazer last trip despite being outside of the required months. It was cold and that fit my comfort requirement. If it was colder I would have taken my black wool overcoat.
If Delta decided they wanted our uniform to be an actual clown outfit with clown makeup I'd still do it for the amount of money I get to make for the time invested per month. That said, I'd still complain about it to my CPO, feedback surveys and ALPA rep to have my voice heard. Then I'd come on here to sport b#tch vent and discuss with others.

Tit for tat does have a long history of being successful.

And mass uniform protest can’t/won’t be enforced by flight ops. See also: the “hats off” campaign during negotiations.

It sure can.

But on the flip side, the "work environment" can suffer. Heard that from NWA pilot friends long ago.

Sometimes, "tit for tat" is necessary. Win the war by fighting a bunch of skirmishes.

Picking your battles is also important.

Delta stereotype? Stuffy. Rigid. Superiority complex. Egotistical.

Guilty as charged. Just curious about the sentence structure.

and why does anyone care what others think so much. Third airline and second legacy and haven't noticed a difference at any of them. Someone got snubbed this one time and suddenly the entire airline is the stereotype lol. Every airline has their 1%ers, just like every other company/service/etc... out there.

It truly shows what kind of managment style Delta looks for/rewards.

What kind of managment team is so rigidly obsessed buy an antiqated uniform design that is neither comfortable nor functional?

How many days a year does Gumm wear the uniform? Less than 5, I bet. How many times has he worn it since he showed up on the property and declared himself a captain? Not many.

Their unwillingess to adapt and accept input from the people actaully wearing it is just another indication of **** poor leadership by focusing on the wrong thing.
