I'm looking for a 747 trading card for my collection. I'm willing to trade one lightly used limited edition single breasted blazer. Super rare! Only used for one season at Delta!

Seriously? Is this sarcasm? I get the feeling it isn’t. Are you a real human being?

Nobody is arguing the Delta pilot uniform is iconic and different. I know that, you know that, but the vast majority of passengers have no clue.
My own mother can’t pick out who flies for which company.
My daughter can recognize the uniform a baseball player wears, but she couldn’t pick out the Yankees because she doesn’t care that much about baseball.

I would venture to say well over 90% of passengers can’t pick out a Delta pilot or know the difference between 3 and 4 stripes. Believe it or not, people just don’t care.

Also, that was the dorkiest post you’ve ever made.

The only people who think the Delta pilot uniform looks iconic are other pilots. The flying public could give two damns.
Which is two more than none. And two in hand is probably worth, conservatively, four damns in the bush.

The DB fit me better, and when they said bottom button had to be buttoned, that eliminated any thought of wearing the SB.

Having said that, the only person who cares less than me which jacket the pilot next to me is wearing are our passengers

Your Kool Aid-inspired posts never disappoint, Trip.

I haven’t even worn the hat in nearly 2 years. Continuing to wear the SB jacket will be easy enough.
