Default Interview prep tailored for Delta

Hi all,

Whenever I read about interview prep, I always hear of Cage/Emerald Coast/etc as the big dogs,

but then I hear about some lesser known small player that specializes in a single carrier because they either are an interviewer for them, used to run their HR department, etc.

I tend to hear rave reviews of that specialized smaller player over a larger consulting company. (Anecdotally, of course)

Can anyone recommend a smaller player that really specializes in Delta?

I've read Craig Tommasello of Pilot Interview Consultants is supposed to be really good, and I think he's a Delta Captain, but I don't know much about him or if he actually specializes in Delta.

Any recommendations welcome, thanks.

I've heard that spitfire elite is good. As is checked and set for app/resume review. Can't go wrong with any of the companies out there. Most are gonna cost in the 700-1000 range for their services. GL

I used Spitfire Elite. They're awesome. Got the Delta CJO and now just waiting on a class date.

Recommend Checked and Set for app review. I was a bit skeptical of this at first for what you pay but the amount of detail and time they put in was well worth it.

I used Spitfire for the interview prep and can recommend them. Follow their strategy and get uncomfortable in the "hot seat" on zoom as many times as you can so when it comes time to interview you are mostly relaxed. They teach you to think on your feet and be authentic while following the format the interviewers expect.

I could not have went in to the interview without prep.

Checked and Set with Charlie Venma and Spitfire Elite is the correct answer. Don't even think about this any more. Just do this and you'll maximize your chances.

Thanks all.

To everyone recommending Checked and Set, what have you heard of Raven Career's app review? I hear consensus Checked and Set typically, but have heard a lot of good about Raven as well.

why don't you ask about 85 more providers of prep?

you were told Checked and Set for resume, and Spitfire for interview human face to face prep

I used Raven for app review and interview prep a year ago and they nailed it for me.

At the end of the day, I'd say any of the larger name prep services are worth it. They have more clients going through the process and are constantly getting feedback to adjust their prep services. I'd be wary of the "20 year delta captain" advice. They're generally out of date with today's hiring practices.

Go old school Kit Darby or Cheryl Cage . Atleast you don't have to study for FE written and fly a DC9 / 727/737 sim for interview 👀
