Are we entering a recession?

Weird to see a regularly scheduled 350 doing domestic routes LAS-ATL.
Wasn't Delta wasting widebody aircraft ATL-Florida pre-RA?
The longer I'm here, the more I get the vibe that American and United (especially United) are international carriers with domestic operations; Delta is a domesitc operation with some international flying.
(I despise long haul, so that's fine by me as long as the checks clear)

Has anyone seen a chart of the S&P 500 superimposed over the Fed Fund's rate? Of course past performance does not guarantee future results, but stocks continuing up are a very rare occurrence once rate cuts start.

Sometimes the domestic legs are not big profit generators, but help in other ways.

I see the occasional "expert at predicting" on MSN Money and talking about selling once the rates drop. I do not understand the correlation, but feel that a cut will lead to even more inflation. That being said, there was a year or two ago that the market ended down in a correction and the Fed's tax receipts were significantly lower resulting in massive budget shortages. IF there is a rigged component, they likely won't allow that again with deficits running $3T annually. There always seems to be a an NVDA or what not that saves the "market."
