You couldn't be more wrong about me wanting to solicit a response. If you (not you personally, the collective you) are not a person I would seek advice from when dealing with my own personal issue, then I give absolultey zero f@cks about your opinion on any of my stances on any matter. Getting someone to react just so i can argue with them just isn't my cup of tea.
And I'm not trying to force tribal changes on anyone.
Why I DID wear the lanyard was to show support for those LGBTQ that deal with that sh!it on a daily basis.
Have you have ever talked to a teenage boy after they atempted suicide becuase they came out as gay and lost their friends and had the bullying turned up to 11? Because I have and short of losing a friend to military combat, that conversation was the 2nd most heart wrenching thing I have experienced in my adult lifetime.
That kid is why I wear it....the FA's that have to fly with the super religious Capt I flew and listen to his snide remarks is why I wear it.....because I'm sure they are not the only one out their dealing with the same stuff....losing friends, losing family, sh!t comments every day....intrusive thoughts about being better of dead.....I'm letting all those people know I support them, even if they aren't willing to out themselves yet.
Sorry for thread drift....I'm not a ATL guy so I'll let those that are get back to taking who they are voting for.

To figure that out you would need to know how much trip coverage occurred in the 18 to 12 hour window. Historically at Delta and basically every major hub airline shortcall is tied far more directly to reroute rules and financial penalties. Airlines with tight reroute rules tended to not have great reserve rules and vice versa. In the end management needs a mechanism to cover short notice trips without exorbitant cost penalties. Under RA an obsessive focus on reliability is what took Delta from the bottom of the industry yield cure to the top. The number one concern of high yield business travelers is will I arrive ontime.
Imagine a poll of pilots with the following options:
1) I like to be rerouted
2) I like short call
I think #1 would win by a landslide for the pay implications.

The commuter clause is another perfect example of where we failed to make industry standard contractual improvements due to over reliance on non-contractual company policy and the “goodwill” of management.
The FOM UTC policy can vanish tomorrow if management wishes. They’ve already begun toying with that idea. The company can also begin enforcing our industry-worst commuter language that allows management to discipline pilots who comply with 23.X but use it “too many times”. CPOs have started venturing into that area as well.
The bottom line is that we need to codify an industry leading commuter clause into the PWA, regardless of FOM policy or past management practice.

Not C44, so I haven't seen an e-mail, just the memes. The level of drive some of these people have to stay in union positions is really weird to me. You're just not that important, go touch some grass and fly the line.
