If it was a no joke error in a manual process, it would at least occasionally go in your favor. So far between ACE and STS I've gotten about $65k in pay shorted. And probably got double that paid to other pilots.

No way Its not intentional.

errors of commission vs errors of omission. the latter is far more likely, which is why it seems to go in the company’s favor all the time.

thats not to excuse the issues, just to explain that errors do not occur with the same probability.

Would be huge support if ALPA pushed this.

Mind if I ask what for? I’ve been trying to recover about $4k since Feb when they calculated my reserve guarantee incorrectly in a month with 19 days of qual training. At this point I’m not confident I’ll ever see it.

…..Been too many years since the incident. I thought my check was light so I brought it to the attention of payroll on the phone and she proceeded to rattle off why it was what it was and then she got silent for a minute followed by a “can I call you right back?” I was told there was an error and I was owed 5k. I was delivered a check shortly at the Holiday Inn and we got to talking. I asked had I not said anything would the error have been found and I was told no, probably not. You can bet your ass that if the error was in the company’s favor they would beat down your door for a refund. THERE ARE NO CHECKS AND BALANCES HERE. Absolutely criminal.

I vote union should come out and tell all pilots not to hand out any trading cards till pay is fixed.

This, along with hats, would be great. BUT….we’re not unified enough. The die hards would scoff, just like they did during the original hats off campaign.
