Brilliant idea.

I partially agree with you Fangs. But we need to turn up some heat on this pay issue. Bill boards, lanyards, whatever. We need to start making a little noise out there. Our approach (DALPA) is not really a winning strategy thus far. The company continues to flagrantly and willfully violate our pay as it pertains to our PWA. Those are undisputed facts.

They can cry about technology and software integration or whatever other excuse du jour. UAL seemed to be able to almost instantly implement their contract pay provisions. We're 3 years on and still it's a mess. Tired of the excuses from management and to some extent DALPA. This should have been rectified 2 years ago.

UAL pilots in California sued about their lack of pay transparency and won. That’s probably why theirs is good now.. maybe the LAX pilots can get a class action going since ALPA isn’t doing much

That said, I'd bet ALPA wants to keep that powder dry for C26.

This. People who crap on ATL pilots for the hats off campaign obviously never spent much time in ATL or were only with the WB hardcores in E. On the NB side I almost never flew with or saw anyone with a hat.
But I agree we need to do something more, step up with some kind of campaign.

how do we have no teeth in this and it continues from a department of labor level?

if the above and below wing workers weren’t paid correctly, wouldn’t there be some level of state investigation to that effect?

what am I missing?

this is getting ridiculous

I agree. What’s even worse is the company is going back and now telling pilots they were overpaid in the past and garnishing wages to get money back. They aren’t even telling the pilots how they were overpaid, just that they were, and the money will be paid back. It’s almost like they want the pilot group to hate the airline.

And everyone check your checks this month. Multiple people getting what appear to be no "pay no credit" pay this 15th paycheck, (EDP, distance learning, Carve pay, sit pay). I've already fielded a couple calls/texts on it this morning.

Mine looks about $2500 light as well, which would jive with not getting RRPY, SCC and EDP last month. Not logging into DLnet/iCrew because I suspect they've assigned me a trip (1000 SC) but I don't want to give them any wiggle room on "you were aware of a 1045 report at 0745am you should have made report" I'll wait until they call, then I will shower, shave and pack to go. (I can always make 2 hours from call to curb at EWR)

Even though I was primarily a NYC based pilot the ATL bashing always made me laugh. The union sometimes published ratification results by base. NYC always had more yes votes than ATL but they talked a good game!

Just checked mine and it's correct, even with some additional pays. I wonder if some of the trips weren't closed, which we can no longer see. I think I remember hearing that caused pay issues recently, but never confirmed if that was true or not.

how about ties off?

or DALPA designs and subsidizes a north face jacket to be ready this fall instead of the crappy gap coat.

Could very well be the fact that rotations aren't closed. They claim that the open/closed status is no longer revent for payroll processing, but consider me skeptical. I love how they claim to increase transparency while they literally make part of our pay displays invisible.
