I just watched three quick slips go out in my category in the last hour. No 23m7 is showing in the log. I thought they couldn’t award a QS without assigning 23m7 first.

There can be a lag. I got called for a WS as the #1 pilot on the roster then 5 minutes later I got a QS call for the same rotation with stop showing on the WS call out. It took about 30-45 minutes for 23m7 to show up on my schedule. So I guess they must identify the pilot first but they are not required to log the m7 right away.

This means they are going to screw up identifying the proper pilot all the time. If you send out multiple an hour, and skip during the WS ladder, then someone who might be full may have been identified for a later trip because it wasn’t placed right away. I can see them saying “well pilot A is full and can’t get it” without going back and identifying pilot B

We are going on five hours now since the first one was awarded. Still nothing in the log. Another one was awarded in the last hour, so four QS tonight without 23m7.

Has anyone deciphered an order to the 23M7 logs yet? It's not seniority, or employee ID#, or rotation date/time, or award date/time, or rotation number, or trip length, or trip credit. If there is a sequence to the log, I'd love to know what it is. The sequence of the log appears completely random to me: I've yet to establish a pattern.
All that to say, AFAIK you need to search ALL pages of the 23M7 logs to know if 23M7 wasn't logged for a trip you know about. |

It seems like it's sorted by date that the m7 code is placed on the pilots schedule. If they already have a rotation or an m7 code, it seems like scheduling applies the m7 code to a different day so as not to block ROT2 slot. So those m7 codes will be listed in a different day than the trip they are for.
Thank you for this, I was driving myself batty trying to come up with a reason other than completely random. I'll stand by my previous statement though.... unless you know where 23M7 was placed on EVERYONE's schedule, a full search of the 23M7 logs is required to confirm an entry is missing. |
