AI can build and test something this easy in 2 hours. Any single programmer could do it easily in a week and Delta must have 100’s of programs on staff or available for hire. This stuff isn’t hard by any stretch of the imagination.

Doesn't it take QS and 2 months of swipe sick/well before lookback is restored? Is MiCrew swipe working?

You are correct. The weekly MEC email always has a section about reporting any issues with the swipe sick/well in MiCrew. I wish they would give some update of the number of issues they have logged.

This is third hand from someone I talked to who talked with a rep recently, but it sounds like there are still lots of issues. Sounds like the biggest thing is getting MiCrew to interface properly with the icrew/DBMS systems.

There’s a bizarre assumption here that when a pilot calls in sick, they’re automatically lying. If sick calls have doubled over the past couple months, then they’re on par with where they should be given the severity of this cold/flu season.
Not bemoaning your point, because it’s true, but it’s WAY more than doubled.

My guess is this is going to make the company very, very dug in on giving up any more leeway on GFB and/or sick verification in negations.

It has to deal with a legacy mainframe system…that they may or may not have access to the source code…

Not doubting you, but was that data published?

Why am I not suprised some manager looks at one cell value on a spreadsheet in their vacuum of an office, and gets all upset? Context be darned… I honestly don’t care, though. I don’t abuse sick. Only once have I ever been across the “verification” threshold without going on LTD. While it’s super annoying, it’s really not actually impactful in a meaningful way. Especially with teledoc being a thing.

It only serves to leave yet another bitter taste in the collective mouths of pilots, and keeps most of us less willing to go above and beyond. They give that fire fuel and oxygen by having a conniption over it.

To me, it’s not worth any negotiating capital.
