Default 8.d.3 violations cure time

Looking to pickup up a rotation in a PCS run that has carryout into April. Found out the last day is an 8.d.3 violation (double-deadhead back to base), but there was/is a direct flight that can be used to get back to base earlier than the double-dead would have.

If I slip it and bring this up to CS now... can the company tell me to go pound sand then "fix it" since it is in a month we haven't bid for yet? Or is this auto going to a Jetstream/STS case now and I'll be made to fly it with penalty later on?

Something else?

Thanks for input

you need to wait until bid pack publication to bring it up, they can modify asterisk rotations until then.

make sure your proposed flight follows MCTs. The company rarely messes up 8d3 nowadays.

In my ignorance, would it still be an asterisk rotation if it is a 0### rotation? i.e.- newly created today and not part of the original bid month? Or does it not matter?

No MCTs to worry about on this one.. and yes I agree they don't often screw up the 8.d.3; I'm wondering if this manually built charter rotation slipped thru the cracks.

It will be at the very back of the bid pack as a ‘new trip’. It will not change. I check every month about now because some of the trips are great. Sounds like the one you grabbed could be quite lucrative.
