We've been looking at a "deadline" of around May 15th. That gives us enough time to get it out for MEMRAT before we really kick in the summer schedules. I thought we'd have something last week, that's what I heard anyway. Surprised they don't want to come to a deal - yet - and are pushing this right up until the last possible time. Then again, kinda par for the course with these guys (4th floor types).

If an agreement is signed on Memorial Day Eve, does that change anything practically speaking on Memorial Day (or summer flying in general)? Delta can’t program anything of significance in 6 months. Will they delete auto-accept any faster?

Lol they'll have it done the next day. It's not that they can't program anything quickly, it's that they choose not to.

Company improvements will be coded in the test environment the day the AIP is released. They will move to the live environment the day we vote yes. Pilot improvements will take 24 months.

Union rep in ATL this week mentioned that any change in ICREW/DBMS requires them to delete something else, because the "memory is full" in our early 1980s scheduling software, and it uses some archaic old programming language. Partly explains why changes take a while to implement. Hopefully Crew360 comes soon.

This question isn't meant to be answered. But I am freaking out about what's about to happen to the world economy and to the ME?
What happens if it goes to hell this summer? We pause negotiations until the new normal normalizes? What's the procedure for when black swans happen right in the middle of negotiations? Is that what happened in covid? I wasn't here yet.

How are we going to fly to Europe if there's no jet fuel in Europe to top off with?
