We’ll see. Many on the MEC understand the value, but I admit that I’m initially skeptical of the “quick fix” approach that will leave many needed contractual improvements untouched.

Once that leverage is gone, it’s gone. I think we’re kidding ourselves if we think management is going to come to the table to offer comprehensive contractual improvements within a few years of a “quick fix” trade being signed.

I agree 100%, only thing I was refuting was the “most pilots benefit” part you stated earlier.

What has this current Mec done that would make you feel that this would be the path for something this important? Most pilots that I talk to are very content with C19. That is the reality of the situation. There is zero way this is an MOU.

I get the frustration, but I think it is misguided and should not be aimed at DALPA. Wait until we see something and then feel free to get out your pitchforks. I doubt that will be the case.

Because this isn't a grievance settlement. This is a full fledged section 6 negotiation. It's beyond absurd to think it would go that way.... And frankly, likely illegal

it would have to be a grievance settlement for them to bypass MEMRAT, right? Thats how they did it with surrendering batch sizes as well as implementing QS.

either way I HIGHLY doubt we see anything like that with this MEC.
