Delta interviewees held up by shrink
#142
I'm bumping this up again... has anybody who's on the "psycho" list heard anything lately? I'm hoping the board meets sometime this week or next. If you hear something, make sure to speak up! Good luck!

Good Luck cycle!
I've not heard anything, but am guessing with the interviews coming to a close until the fall, they will have one more board. Don't know if anyone who passes it will get into class, but as always I'm hopeful. I've been in non-standard turns now since the 3rd and know that it is nowhere near the record.

They decided I too was crazy back in 1999. Never heard another thing from them. Somehow almost ten years later I have not killed anyone, bent an airplane, have had any HR action taken against me, still married and have managed to get high praises from all I have come in contact with. I guess that leaves me wondering which is crazy, me or the screening process at Delta?

Definately the screening process. To think you can predict what kind of a person you will be to work from a personality test is ludicrous. The process probably still exist to give legitamacy to the pyshcology profession. Not sure how a pyschologist who has probably never been in the military can overide a sound interview, extensive military career and solid references.
