Thanks for posting alfaromeo.
From Steve Dickson's Code a Phone:
Now, getting back to that myth, since the TA and 717 acquisition were announced, some have expressed concern that the 717s will come with pilots as part of the deal. I can tell you unequivocally that this is not the case. Let me say very clearly that the 717s at Delta would be flown by Delta pilots currently on the seniority list or those we hire to the bottom of the seniority list through our existing hiring processes in the future. I’ll repeat: the 717s will be flown by current and/or new hire Delta pilots, period.
Talk amongst yourselves.

I personally feel the 717's will come w/o pilots. But anyone can and will say anything, anytime, to please others (look at politicians). Let's see it in writing.

See, was that so hard?
Still doesn't fix the lack of pay, backwards change of work rules despite the temporary staffing that the early outs provide, sick leave monitoring or the excessive number of additional 70 seaters of the TA.
Maybe if DALPA was as responsive to our concerns has management seems to be, we'd be in a better place.

This is a brief quote from SD in his weekly Flight Ops update. I know it's an internal memo and I don't normally post/share those so if it's a big no-no to take a quote a couple sentences out of it would a mod please remove this post. Here it is from SD,

I would also like for SD to say something to the effect that they will indeed replace every early out pilot with a one for one upgrade/replacement AE bid.
Otherwise, they could -not- replace them and just let all the new efficiencies and synergy take care of it.

Sailing, if you take the vacation out of the equation, the results are a lot worse. Flying 75 hrs and getting 10:30 for a 3 day trip, you'll have to work 7.1 trips. That means you'll be flying 21 days. Many of these three days trips are not commutable. The TA will not help correct this flaw. We should have close to 6 hrs pay per day at work. Just one of the items missing from this concessionary agreement.
