Let me say very clearly that the 717s at Delta would be flown by Delta pilots currently on the seniority list or those we hire to the bottom of the seniority list through our existing hiring processes in the future. I’ll repeat: the 717s will be flown by current and/or new hire Delta pilots, period.

Talk amongst yourselves.

I personally feel the 717's will come w/o pilots. But anyone can and will say anything, anytime, to please others (look at politicians). Let's see it in writing.

This is a brief quote from SD in his weekly Flight Ops update. I know it's an internal memo and I don't normally post/share those so if it's a big no-no to take a quote a couple sentences out of it would a mod please remove this post. Here it is from SD,

I have a question for you. Why did they spend all the money to update NATCO only to get rid of it?

See, was that so hard?

Still doesn't fix the lack of pay, backwards change of work rules despite the temporary staffing that the early outs provide, sick leave monitoring or the excessive number of additional 70 seaters of the TA.

Maybe if DALPA was as responsive to our concerns has management seems to be, we'd be in a better place.

Just log on to Deltanet, & click on SD's latest update. It's right there in writing.

SD's update was good to see. At first, I wondered why I wasn't getting this from the union but then I realized I probably wouldn't have trusted that half as much as I trust the memo from SD. Perhaps we truly are our own worst enemies.

I would also like for SD to say something to the effect that they will indeed replace every early out pilot with a one for one upgrade/replacement AE bid.

Otherwise, they could -not- replace them and just let all the new efficiencies and synergy take care of it.

Just one of the items missing from this concessionary agreement.
If you fly 21 days under the TA you would credit about 95 hours? Or take off a tree day and it's 18 for 82 hours?

That was good enough for me.

I think we can consider the "pilots coming with 717s" issue officially dead. Very welcome news.
