No offense, but you are out of line with that comment.

There are 19 pilots right now that would dispute that statement (plus plenty of pilots who have done the job previously).

Not to say that now and then there are weak reps, but you'll find that 99% of the reps are working as hard as they can and using every available resource.

Check is exactly right Shiznit. You don't know what you're talking about. The reps are not only impotent, they're meaningless. It's exactly how the MEC admins want it. There are a number of reps that understand that.

See, was that so hard?

Still doesn't fix the lack of pay, backwards change of work rules despite the temporary staffing that the early outs provide, sick leave monitoring or the excessive number of additional 70 seaters of the TA.

Maybe if DALPA was as responsive to our concerns has management seems to be, we'd be in a better place.

Hey......don't worry. According to others here this TA allows management to make outsourcing our jobs more profitable by getting rid of 50 seaters for 76!!

We are making a profit and look what it got us in this ta: Loss of profit sharing %, meager pay increases, whooping 1% DC contribution increase starting in 2014 (if I'm correct), loss of 300 pilot positions by the unions own admission with the HOPE that some pilots potentially taking an early buyout MIGHT mitigate the loss..... That one really made me chuckle when I read it. Guranteed loss that is partially mitigated by potential early retirements that the union really has no idea will happen.

I agree on your sentiment and you really describe the essence of our PWA.
It's a legally enforceable contract.
Unless it's in writing and unless the written language is court-defensible, it really doesn't exist from a legal standpoint. "But they promised that..." won't really get you anything.

"Deal me the ace...and I'll make it worth your while"

No, because you'd be giving up a jet we already fly at mainline.

Fine. A380s then. Oh wait...you already DID give that up!

So, uummkaaayyy.....IF and I repeat IF the gummer's early outs makes up for the "productivity changes" in staffing....anyone have a WAG on the # of Pilots needed to staff the 717's?

50 seater financial obligations

Can anyone post a link to the financial obligations on the 50 seaters? I want an extended look at it, but all I get from the reps (notice I don't say MY reps) is that they don't want to overwhelm us with data and their crew room notes are on the way.

The document shows the end date on the financial obligations for the 50s.

Thanks

I prefer 2 767-300ERs to 1 A380. Good thing we get the bigger cut of the flying. :)
