Buzz,

I was curious and took a look at your award and reasons report. To me, it looks like you got those trips because of your number 4 award preference. All your prefer off preferences came after that #4 where you were awarded all those trips so, in essence, PBS, did honor those prefer offs just after you had already been awarded the trips from a higher priorty preference, it doesn't look back. Make sense?

Usually PBS will say something like "line complete" or "award complete" and not process any more once you are in the window. I think it went on in your case because of the "max credit" bid.

Just my 2 cents worth. Take it for what it's worth!:D

I'm thinking you're right Denny. I just noticed that I put my prefer off below less important prefer/avoid. That's what I get for copying and pasting every month. Guess I'll be doing a lot of moving and shaking after the 18th.:D

Thanks Denny! You're always spot on.

I was looking at that, too. It looks like he got exactly what he asked for.... I figured he got unstacked, but it honored his preferences....

So, it honored my first award request and filled up before it got to everything else? I'm a dumbass.

Live and learn.

Maybe I'll apply at SWA.

Any recommendation for someone with Tricare Prime? I thought the health care options included a plan specifically beneficial for someone with Tricare but can't seem to find info. I'lo be coming back to DL late this year.

Pm me if you have to, but most of us (that I've spoken to) take the DL vision and dental and use TRICARE for the medical. As bad as TRICARE is, it's light years ahead of what DAL offers.

I'm assuming that you are returning after an AD retirement. Welcome back and thanks!

Just stay with Tricare Prime and bypass Delta's plan completely. The coverage is better and WAY cheaper (for now at least). However, opt for Delta's dental plan over Tricare. Better coverage and cheaper. I'm a USAF retiree and that's definitely the way to go.

Welcome back! It's better then ever.

Distance Learning BOHICA

I'm doing DC9 DL on the USB drive and have about 3 modules to go to complete the course. Plugged it in this morning and the entire drive nukes!

I've tried several different computers with no luck. Called the HELP desk and she said I'd have to do it all over again with a new flash drive. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm calling everybody and their mother on Monday morning, but wondering if you guys have dealt with this before???

I can't see doing the entire thing again - totally unsat

I agree AE after the mid-Aug. deadline.

Didn't we hire about 180 after the last early out? (Not saying there is correlation or causality...)

Yes, but as it was told to me, that was because they had too many on Leaves for three years and could not force them back. It is also the reason that the max leave the would offer this time around was 12 months. They did not want to have to hire pilots due to too many leaves of absences being granted.
