Care to quote where the TA guarantees that, 76?

Time for you to grow up and read the agreement instead of listening to all the propaganda.

It is a good agreement.

DCI has good reason to be worried. My heart goes out to them because this agreement is gonna hurt their companies, and them as a result. Hopefully they will all come here soon.

t, the union people even agreed that it doesn't guarantee growth.

NO contract is going to. The donuts won't even try that ludicrous statement. It recaptures DCI flying... period. We will be flying more of that time when all is said and done. Period.

This is a good agreement.

The quote I was responding to was a guy touting how great this agreement is and that it guarantees growth for mainline. It does not and I was correcting that statement.

I guess you're just wanting to bicker with the off topic argument you're trying to bring in.

DCI will shrink by around 1200 pilots as a result of this**, and I'll get 1200 more bucks next month. I'm on board with this agreement whether I wanted it or not, and I'm going to make the best of it. I will certainly not make it out to be something that it is not, though.

**pending delivery of 717s or A319's

it does not require that we recapture dci flying. period. we do not have to increase our fleet and/or our block hours. as long as they shrink, they are in compliance.

look in the contract and not a nnp.

I'm not here to bicker nor try to persuade you guys of anything anymore. You have your minds made up, so be it. This is a good agreement, and I am proud of what was accomplished by our NC. You don't like it.. fine. That's your choice, and frankly I couldn't care less. I am wondering if I will be able to hold reserve in August...

It's a pity you see scope through such a narrow straw. This is a significant improvement in scope for the Delta pilots. Fewer 76 seat jets, fewer 70-seaters (can't be honest if you aren't counting jumbo turboprops), fewer 50 seaters, more mainline block hours within the Delta brand, improved code share language, improved joint venture protections, improved furlough protection. Plus more pay, improved reserve guarantee, significantly improved sick leave and LTD. No surprise it passed.
