Nothing really says October AE. Maybe it wil be though and hopefully a positive one this time for all of us.

In October, Network Planning will send us the 2013 plan and we will make our narrow body adjustments with an AE sometime this fall/winter.

What is "AE"?

I know a good one near Overlake Hospital in Bellevue if that's not too far. He charges less than what we get reimbused by Delta and you can make an appointment and get in within a few days. Dr. Larry Greenblatt 425-637-0636. He uses the FAA MedXpress so make sure you do that. All the FAA Doc's are going to it anyway.

So, sure... October or maybe November.

Well, let's hope the plan for 2013 is a good one since that's what determines what the AE will be. Plus, there is an election in November which means there is a possibility of two different paths for 2013. I wonder if that'd make the October bid a small one if the 2013 plan is status quo. Maybe we'll have two AE's this year! :D I mean imagine a time when an AE doesn't feel like just a once a year thing?

ALPA wins one

News about American's contract rejection is all over the place. ALPA should win this one.

Pinnacle Airlines ’ pilots union is dismissing the carrier’s claim that pilot seniority is an extraordinary burden unmatched at rival regional operators.

The airline prior to its April 1 Chapter 11 filing said its labor costs were higher than those of its peers, in part because of the seniority of its crews. However, Tom Wychor, chairman of the Pinnacle Master Executive Council (MEC) for the Air Line Pilots Association ( ALPA ), tells Aviation Week the union is close to completing a study that debunks that argument and notes that the longevity profile of Pinnacle pilots “is not that much different from SkyWest ’s or American Eagle [ Airlines ’] or the other large regional airlines .”

ALPA cites this study in a counterproposal to Pinnacle’s $76 million concessions plan ($60 million of which would come from the pilots) that also calls on the carrier to broker an agreement with mainline partners, namely Delta AirLines, to enable the more senior pilots to transition to network operators .
As I recall, Tom Wychor was against the Comair pilots when they wished to be merged with Delta.

FTB,

If you read the memo that came with the last AE, it was supposed to be the "first of many" AEs to staff us for 2013's flying program. Now I'll believe it when I see it but I really think we'll see a DTW 73N category in addition to the B717s.

I wonder if we'll see a NYC 330 base?

Timbo 09-06-2012 05:09 AM

Is the 330 doing any International flying out of JFK right now?
