Understood, Scambo. I just had to get that in there about how my life sucks on the "ER".

It really must be a bummer bidding an int'l category then being bait and switched to mostly domestic flying in which you have to cover 3 airports (2 of which are do-able, but the 3rd...nah). I won't defend the situation, but the bidding strategy Denny brought up can be pure gold, especially in a commuting category that is manned short.

Yeah, it really does work best in a commuting category. I haven't tried it for years. With the reserve guarantee now what it is, I thought I might just try this for a couple years if I can get the AE. The shorter the drive to the airport the better. I can easily make it in 2 hours even if I'm not at home. Plus I don't have to worry about 3 bases.....:) Haven't been on reserve is years. Will have to read "reserve for dummies" if/when I get it.

Ugghhh, why are only the ALPA regional pilots taking it on the chin in this regional aircraft swap? I would love to hear Moak's response on this, but he is probably too busy soaking up the sun at his million dollar beach house in New Orleans.

I don't think there are any beach houses in NO. Even beaches close to there are not very nice.

I think that would be a good thing. Having an airline pilot on their board would have to be a plus, even if you don't like LM.

Sorry riverfront, but there's still a beach.

Im hoping one of these decades mainline pilots will realize that outsourcing allows perpetual whipsawing.
