Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Any other reserve guys close to the 80 hour mark yet? Just got assigned a 2day that puts me at 78 hrs come aug 19th. I would say that gives me the rest of the month off but I haven't sat any SC yet!!

I'm fairly certain it doesn't matter if you've sat zero SCs. Once you're within 2 hours you're done. Any SC assignment would put you over the ALV, which you don't have to exceed.

This was definitely not the mother of all bids. In fact, the backfilling was very minimal, probably waiting on the block hr plan for next summer...we hope.

Riding the js on the lax redeye into atl this am, after finishing a 9 day asia and heard the following: (we're landing 26r) "approach, can we get 8l this morning?" Was a little loopy, but thought the call-sign was southwest. Do they land at 6am in hotlanta? Anyway, it made for a big laugh and woke me up for my drive home.
