Since mgmt has your contact info, what would you do in a scenario where someone posted a non-illegal post that really chapped their crack, and contacted you demanding the source?
They wouldn't ask a moderator, they'd go to court to subpeona the information as part of a lawsuit. Almost all these anonymous boards have a disclaimer they'll reveal users under court order. Ask NWA flight attendants about that during their contract negotiations circa 1999

All anyone has to do is connect the dots (a favorite phrase around here).

Get into a discussion with forgottobid and he will be able to tell you what grocery store you shop at in 24 hours.

Ask Bill Lumberg. Oh wait!

EWR-SIN?! Ouch! Makes my arse hurt just thinking about flying 2 hours longer than our JNB-ATL flights!

It also happend to 49 Delta South Pilots who were sued during our 2000-2001 contract negotiations for supposedly running a 'no overtime flying' campaign...tagged by some of their posts on their own 'secure' DALPA web board!

Don't ask me how I know...

Ref the LCP meeting . They don't stand at the podium and say this is confidential info but for somebody to post the notes of the meeting online pretty much verbatim is weak. Maybe if you started with disclaimer like "rumor from LCP meeting" you could get away with it but not line by line quotes.

Take away is that it is strange what is tolerated and what isn't. I dare say most of our moral compass's are aligned to a different North than Delta's HR Department's. IMHO it is good for morale that what we do here on APC is tolerated to the degree it is.

If AF did a cargo flight we could cut that DL flight, route everyone througn another hub anyway and it wouldn't count against the ESK's in the JV. Bi-winning!
