#6 Because he is ALWAYS negotiating with aircraft makers for deals and in this case spending time with Airbus he is actually negotiating with Boeing.

I think the RS list is pretty spot on overall--appreciate the youtube post.

Yeah, no kidding. He commissioned most of the ship models, including aircraft carriers with aircraft! I'm thinking $90,000 to $120,000 for the basement and theater without the decorations.

I've wondered if a 747 main deck interior nose section could be used to build out a home theater. It would be a cool concept, but it would require framing out the fuselage side mounts, which depending on how you built the offsets could be a pain.

A friend of mine owns a detailing service and works on the guys cars and so he got a call to see what he could do to fix it. So Monday my friend went over and after looking at it for a while it was determined they went too deep to be fixed.

It may just be me, but it seems like there is a simple solution to most of the problem...

Ok, where's Herman to ID the ships? I say that's Yamato in the foreground, or Musashi.

I could do it on my lunch break, plus wire it in 221, no problem.

Ok I have a rest question.
Put on SC for today starting at 1200.
I assume I am on rest until 1200. Of course I am assuming.
Get a call at 9 am giving me a trip that starts at 1430.
Is that not breaking my rest?
It was the automated trip notification, but I didn't realize I was giving the company free reign to notify me. First time I have been given a trip prior to my SC starting and been called by the automation. Usually the scheduler just waits till my SC starts, or I've already acknowledged in iCrew because I noticed it before my SC starts.
I figure it is my problem because I signed up for the automatic calls, but from what I understood those calls were for changes to current scheduled trips, not trips added to ones schedule.

Its a moo point though since the trip is over 2 hours after the start of your SC. It was just a courtesy call. No need to answer, no need to acknowledge. If you ignore it, they will just call you at noon or 12:30 at the latest and give you a 2-2.5 hour report anyway. As long as its not a conflicting "co-terminal" issue (i.e. you were commuting to JFK but the trip starts out of EWR and you can't make report because of that, etc if so, call and get it sorted out) then its good that they gave you a heads up. Make sure the SC still shows on your schedule and if so the only thing that happened is that you have a little tenative heads up if you want it. If not, you'll figure it out at the start of your SC anyway.
