Practically all (if not all) short calls on the ER in JFK run from 1300 - 1300. (24 hours on international)

Jack-
tedspal is talking about NYC. Many/most of the pilots up there are international guys. Short call runs 24 hours a day.
You're right though. Most of the intl departures are afternoon.

I got a couple grand in profit sharing from NWA last year, supposed to get more this year. The amount is pretty lame, but it is profit sharing.

I think next year they will add up the NWA and the DAL profitsharing for us, good times!! Twice the size, twice the pay - what do you think??

Question DAL Health Plan

I haven't found too much information on Delta's health plan. Could anyone compare the health/dental coverage to Tricare Reserve Select? From what I know about TRS, it's about $250/mo + dental for a family, $300 deductible, with a $1000 max outlay per year (for the entire family put together). 85/15 split in-network and 80/20 split outside the network. Is this better and/or cheaper than Delta's plan?

Here's what I found about DAL plan. http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/sh...&postcount=797

I've heard most stay with TRICARE and add DAL's dental/vision but that could just be the retirees.

I have also heard to go with Tricare Reserve Select, and that is what I plan on doing.

Flying - check your PM

As for vision under TRS. You will have to call the TRS folks and ask. You should be GTG by working thru the Flt Doc at your base but the family only gets "vision screening". I don't know exactly what that means but the coverage for glasses/contacts is the exact same as when you were on active duty.
