As a 2010 hire, I'm seriously considering bailing for United. I'm on my second displacement and keep moving farther from home. A Chicago commute would be better than any of the other Delta junior bases.

Anyone else thinking of pulling the cord?

if I were you I would go to the United also. they have the same pay, same work rules, basically and then you would be home. you're on the bottom here, you'd be on the bottom there,

Hey Buzz,

I don't know how long your bud has been at FDX, but you know what they say about chasing a base and/or shiny jet... Anyway, if he has been at FDX for awhile, he should be able to hold double deadheads.......paid duty, and a deviation bank ($) to get from home to the shiny jet, and back home.

Makes the home vs base dilemma ALMOST moot.
