I don't follow FA news much but my understanding is 1000 FAs took the early out... and so we're hiring 400 to replace them.

Is that right?

I heard the same 1000 number from several of the senior moma's I fly with, some of whom took the early out. They also said, the company didn't get nearly as many to leave as they wanted to...

I was hoping they were looking to retire some of the "over 70" crowd, and replace them with the same amount, under 30!

But if they are only going to hire 400, to replace the 1000, then yeah...that's where we are headed. :eek:
