Congrats 80!!!!! You're going to love being a dad.

I couldn't count backward from 10.

Its not a beautiful thing, but it is a miracle. When the baby appears, it is beyond amazing.

I think after the whole birth thing, my wife couldn't use the "but I'm a Magnolia blossom" excuse anymore.

Could it have to do with this?

Item eight.*The NWA MP3 targeting plan "residual" payment was distributed to eligible pilots on December 28. This year, the calculation resulted in a payment equal to approximately 2 percent of eligible 2012 calendar year earnings. The distribution will be made as an employer contribution to the Delta Pilots Savings Plan, to the maximum extent permitted by law, with any excess paid as cash.

I actually "looked in the light"... I was up at the head of the bed with her but leaning forward checking out what was going on downstairs the whole time. Nothing short of a miracle... I'll never forget it!

Even crazier is he looks identical to me as a baby. Sorry, world... I guess another me has arrived.

Congrats to the other new dads out there... I can finally begin to empathize with you, and best of luck to those that have them on the way. We're all counting on you.

Yeah, but they just don't have the powerhouse network we do. I mean, between Alaska, DCI, the twin Virgins, and our French, Dutch, Italian, Brazilian, and Chinese replacements we pretty much have the world covered! For our passengers, I mean.

When other airline hiring gets you down, just repeat slowly..."Global Alliances are the way of the future. Good for Delta is good for me. The Company is still in full compliance. KCM is almost done, and we have less risk of lasers shining into the cockpit. Pinnacle gets a shot in the arm to stay alive. I am lucky to have a job at all in this economy. And, I'll be senior someday." (Although, I might be traveling S4 at that point).
