I prefer SFO, MIA, BOS, LAS and DCA. Might as well make the best of it, however, when half of LA's 73 rotations transit DTW.

If you want to get together and see how the "over 50" guys do it, drop me a line.

Trying to get based in LA someday. Only laid over there once actually with an old guy that just went to bed.

Just some leftover angst that everyone I fly with is over 55. Used to fly with crews, in the AF, that made every layover epic.

Congrats by the way on mini80. Got an 18 month old and another on the way!

I was Air Force and my layovers are still epic. It's not about the location.

Did the nuclear football actually say it was the nuclear football? I think the photo is somewhat fake.

BTW, I did corporate. My layovers were more epic. So much so, if I told you about them, you'd have to kill yourself, because they were just that degrading and lame.

Luckily, the guy I flew with salvaged most of them and got us better hotels. But that couldn't stop the pain at the airport.

I've been off for a while so I have some late house cleaning to do.....

First and foremost, Congratulations 80! With a new baby and midnight feedings, it looks like we will see a lot more of this guy...

Except, your glass won't have cognac in it, it will be formula now.

Congrats again , 80. :D

Thanks! And so true... tonight is my first night on my own with him. I checked out on feeding and burping today, which was the last step.
Already have a nice splotch of formula on my shoulder.

I'm on dooty til 4, gents!

Thanks! Just spent the last 45 minutes quelling a crying spell. I need a QRH...

All the best for yours as well!

I'm exposing my son to the beautiful sound of high bypass engines at an early age.

Buzz & Denny,

Congrats! My Bears blew it again. When the Seahawks beat the Packers in week two, everyone thought it was a replacement referee fluke. But, maybe not so much. Remach in the NFC championship, maybe?

Thanks NewK!! The last couple of away games the Hawks finally found a way to win! I think a rematch is highly likely.:) The Hawks defense is gonna shut down Atlanta! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

Musberger's stamp of APPROVAL. (provided dinner is at 3:30 and any transactions are completed by dark).

Congrats 80 - never thought we'd go from Uboob to the best place for a diaper change, but things run in cycles.
