All the notes on the log in page of iCrew deal with IT issues. I wonder if someone got sent back to the speed line this week.

So glad I moved from Atl back to Cali. You can have that dump!

Right. "Cali" is wonderful - no problems there.

BTW, that appears to be FLA based on the palm trees, Miami-Dade P.D., and FLA plates.

Speaking of driving into the parking lot- it's easy to recognize when newK pulls into the lot:

We need to start flowing some of you guys into the 737. I hit 700 hours this year.

I've got him beat hands down. Look forward to flying 73N scheds when the -9 goes away. Until then, I'll take the paid vacation.

I could make more, but there is no way I could work less. That's the beauty of it.

Should happen automatically when you activate.

There's a link in small font that asks if you'd like to standby for upgrade. If you miss it, the gate agent can hook you up.

But for 99% of domestic flights, there will be a list of 40-60 frequent flyers standing by for 2 seats. so, why bother?

I bother because it only takes 2 seconds to click the upgrade button and it does pay off now and then. I get upgraded from time to time. In fact I have gotten upgraded my last 3 DH's in a row.

We had 71 (not kidding -- 71) medallions on the upgrade list two nights ago for the 6 PM BOS-ATL.
3 seats open in front on a 737.

Pretty much the entire coach cabin was pin-striped frequent flyer businessmen trying to upgrade. Funniest part was the 10 or 12 people who had actually purchased First Class seats were an odd assortment of folks who were the absolute last ones in the gatehouse that you would guess were wealthy. Not a suit among them.

Just curious, what city pairs are you getting upgraded on? It's been years since I've gotten one.

For the record, I make the effort also. Just seems like everyone who has a Delta Skymiles credit card is on the upgrade list.

If you missed the link at check in, you might want to peak at the airport standby list before you stand in line at the gate.
