Just curious, what city pairs are you getting upgraded on? It's been years since I've gotten one.

For the record, I make the effort also. Just seems like everyone who has a Delta Skymiles credit card is on the upgrade list.

If you missed the link at check in, you might want to peak at the airport standby list before you stand in line at the gate.

JFK-LAS, CUN-ATL and I think the other was SEA-SLC. Haven't flown much the past few months and my memory isn't the greatest.

It should automatically put you on the upgrade list when you check in on the kiosk. Also, enter your confirmation on the delta app for your phone. You can watch your position on the upgrade list from the app.

Question?

Anyone that has come back from mil leave greatly than 4 years did the company put you right back into training or did they give you a mini indoc? If so how long?

I thought I remember folks sitting in the back of the class we I went through indoc that were not hired with us.

Training Command is a great gig. The most fun I have ever had flying was as a VT instructor. VR was a pretty good deal also with my favorite being the Sigonella DET, but the flying was not as fun as the VTs.

Welcome back to DAL - your timing is pretty good as this is the best that things have been since 9-11.
