In my case, I kept the original award.

Same for me.

If they left the awards as posted the vast majority of pilots would have no way of knowing if they recieved a correct award or not since changing just one week can cascade through a entire award. ALPA going along, what a crock, they are trying to fix it.
One poster put on here they he was screwed and ALPA would not do anything to fix it. They fix the awards and someone elses posts that ALPA is going along with a rerun and thats wrong. Reruning the bids is the only way to insure each pilot got what he should have held.

Got to agree with Sailing on this one. There were errors with the bids so the company did the right thing and fixed them - very quickly I might add.

I doubt anyone was financially damaged by this temporary srew-up, but if they were I would assume that the company would have to suck it up and provide relief. Lets not make a bid deal out of something minor.

your paychecks just end up larger

Bid M88B. Won't be an issue for hitting any upper limits anywhere. Problem solved.

There are only so many slots for each week available in each bid run. It allows the higher choice weeks to go lower in seniority, or on bids 2,3,4. Look at weeks avail on the Crew Resources and scheduling page. It shows how many slots are avail for each week on each vacation week bid run.

Only flown about 250 or so on the ER B in ATL as well.

I hear that the initial bid for 717 will be 100 A's and B's. Split between ATL and DTW. Bid coming out in March. If you are a bottom feeder in category, have your displacement bids in order. Bid what you want and want what you bid. The closing of the 767 domestic category will make it interesting. Also, opening the DTW 73N category.

I made an error on my PVAC bid. Any chance they can run the bid again?
