Jack, I agree, that's one of the reasons I find it interesting. Did we really need more lift on the route to feed our international stuff and Alaska couldn't or wouldn't do it, or what?

sorry, I mis-typed, LAX SEA is part of Phase 1....

rain, fog, by the sea, I get them confused all the time :D

Who can tell me about "carry-out" trips, specifically how they can change them and BEND U OVER? ;)
I had a nice trip that went into Mar, that ended with a DH in a close spot to home that allowed me to DH/commute directly home at a good time to make it to kid's events that day. It also ended with a layover in a city I wanted.

I just logged in and it now has the last day of trip, in Mar, laying over somewhere crappy, and the trip flying back to the base (so no deviate DH straight home, which is why I wanted it), and it gets in later.

Is this just the risk of accepting a carry-out trip? I feel kinda boofed here, there were several trips that came through Open time that would have been better than this, if I had known it would be changed...

Comments, while we wait for the bid package to show up via backdoor?

Now, shall we discuss what we called Harry A? :D

I fixed it.

Quick question. How short of a layover triggers the 1-2? Less than 9? And if so does it go until the next duty day is complete?

It is normally 8:15. However, if both duty days total 20 duty hours then less than 9 triggers it.

I agree with you. I'm just wonder if AS is interested in selling.

AK Mngt says they are NOT interested but they also do what's best for the Board and the Stock Holders, not the employees - So who knows. For the right amount I believe they would grab it w/ open arms.

I'm more worried about the SLI.

Baja.

I thought Alaska was trying to take themselves private anyway. Kinda like what Dell is doing right now. I'm loosing money on that too, very angry.
