I don't know what the 739's are going to do to the 75 fleet, other than the ling term plan is to have 80-100 752's in the fleet. I spoke to a fleet guy last week who said that if things start moving in the right direction the 26 75/76 airframes in the desert will be put through their heavy checks. I'm just as frustrated by the lack of movement as anyone else, but I can't just snap my fingers and make everything better.
FWIW, that mil leave count has stabilized at ~200 for around 6 months. That may be the new normal.

They are running out of excuses to not get some new warm bodies at mainline.

I'll bet sequestration will be the next excuse.

My hope is that the next time we are sitting in a really good negotiating position after having given up massive pay cuts and the company comes to us for an early agreement after record profits we don't feel the need to feed them concessions in the form of reduced profit sharing and onerous reserve rules that worsen QOL.

Just received a phone call from CPSC to inform me of a military escort of a fallen soldier on my trip tomorrow. I feel that this was classy upon them to give me a heads up. Now back to your regulary scheduled all Alpa/Delta sucks *****fest.

Is there any way to cross check how many of those mil leave guys are no longer on the seniority list? I know of at least a few that were on the nbcmil list after the merger who are now completely gone.

I've had two of these events in the last 12 months. One was combat related, the second was a very young SSGT who simply died in his sleep of natural causes, 3 months after getting home from A'stan. CPSC likewise gave me the heads up. I gave it some thought about how to offer all due respect. PM me if you want. The Mil escorts can also give you tips on how to approach. May be your last opportunity to positively (& personally) impact at least one fallen serviceman.

That's completely untrue. 6 months ago (September) there were 279 out on NBC MIL. March there are 208.

For what it's worth, in January of 2012, 345 were out on NBC MIL.
