I'll keep that in mind Dash. Was contemplating something out of NYC - wonder how many BEvERageS I can swindle for bidding that early and leaving all those lucrative LAX, SLC and CVG spots open!?...

It seems like a pretty good drop for our class. At least most of the ATL people don't have to commute to JFK.
I still got a chuckle when they show the route map, it actually shows DTW,MSP and MEM in addition to our bases, and along with it on the next slide, it shows an A-330:) |

Nope, sorry. But seems like the reason for these big classes are primarily for the increased summer flying schedule. I hope for all the local Atlanta folks or FL commuters, these ATL md88 slots keep coming! Because it really helps the rest of the class to get what they want, instead of just NY 7ER and NY shuttle.
For example, I think the last spots of CVG and LAX went quite junior. Only the last 7-9 people were stuck with the NY shuttle. |
Good deal rvr. Thanks again - As I mentioned before I may be eveyone's hero if I bid a 7ER early and not "nab" a ATL, CVG or LAX slot. I honestly think a DFW-JFK commute might be much easier and less stressful than a DFW-ATL one! Lot of those senior DAL folks around here... must be a nest! :cool:
