I read somewhere (trim tab, some other memo, whatever) that some 717 training for April was already on a few people's lines. If so that's pretty interesting seeing as the training/conversion list isn't even out for anyone else on any equipment yet and likely won't be for another week or two.
That is correct. Prospective trainees in April were contacted by phone. I guess they were than offered the opportunity to train. Since most guys will sit around after the training I imagine most, if not all, accepted.
Not sure if the company had the required notice to "assign" training, but like I said most probably view this as a great opportunity for a few months off with pay.

I had read about the Mazerati parked in the employee lot in Atlanta. Everyone wondered who owned it.
The other day I'm pulling out of the lot when the Mazerati is coming in.
We were all hoping for this:

What was actually driving it was this:

She was a grandma. It was an expensive Mazerati, not the cheap one. So much for that fantasy.

The grandmas in FLL and PBI always confuse me because you have to admit; they have nice boobs.
Along those lines we had several friends to the house for a long weekend, one is quite the Bible thumping Adventist, 28 years old who also happens to have had rhinoplasty and a magnificent set of plastic fantastics installed ... which provided an opportunity to steal a line from Louis C.K. ... "so, if you say we are resurrected into our incorruptible bodies, do you get to keep the boob job?"
After that joke my wife hid the bottle of wine from me and took her hottie religious friend into another room to play piano ....
