Sure I'll holler if I'm ever out that way. SEA is one of the best eating (and drinking) around. PDX is good too of course, provided you do your research before you eat.

If people would stop white slipping to 90 hours it would be even better. And, the 717 sim scheds are on deltanet for those others that were asking about the training.

Just commuted with a guy claiming to be a "Delta Poolie". I had no idea we even had a pool. By the time anybody reads an application again it will have been 4 years since these "poolies" interred the cold water. Is there a true pool?

Those that interviewed and were offered jobs but no class were placed in a pool for a year in case we hired. We didn't so the job offer is rescinded, but they will be first to get called for interviews when that eventually happens.

That is kind of what I thought. The gentleman is under the impression he has the job. I wonder if DAL has communicated to these individuals. They should definitely not hold out for DAL. UAL, SWA (off and on), FDX, US Air, etc are all hiring. I told him I would hate to see him miss a great opportunity with another airline. He is also under the impression he may get the call this fall. I hope those originally placed in the pool have not been misinformed.

It was made explicitly clear to them that the job offer was good for one year. I guess he forgot. :)
