I don't always agree with your political tirades, but I think you're onto simething here. You're looking back on the Bush Lorenzo-is-always-welcome-at-my-dinner-table-no-PEB-for-you-New-World-Order presidencies, and their desire to help the little guy at the expense of big business, their protectionist approach, and their ruthless clamping down on government largesse towards the military-industrial complex, and you're thinking "now, THOSE GUYS, those guys would really have my back", and weeping soft tears of nostalgia. Right?

So I've completed my updated category list analysis... plugged in all the numbers, and it turns out that FINALLY after the last 5 years, I have actually moved UP in percentage of spot held, in most categories 7ERB and below. Moved up 1-2% mostly. Seattle got more senior though, lost power there.
However, I did notice that all the B positions I can't hold, 744/765/330, the numbers of spots available have dropped, and the junior guy got more senior. So basically the senior spots have been reduced. That doesn't affect me, but guys 1997-2000 will have felt that. So, I'm going to take this as GOOD NEWS, as I've been waiting forever for a seniority % gain on a cat list. I am therefore drinking some Sierra Nevada Torpedo, recommended to me by many on this thread. I can report it is quite good, but probably does not mix with ACTUALLY buckling down and doing your taxes... |

Our tax code is completely out of control. |

This is a total non sequitur argument. Neither of us are making any such claim. This is about policy, not handouts. The US government will gladly let DAL/UAL/LCC fail on one hand while actively supporting carriers like emirates with ExIM bank loans. Or maybe I am wrong in my view of this...
Or was your comment to 80 aimed at me? But, this is not the place for politics and that is the only place this discussion will go. I knew that when I posted. But, I couldn't resist. I had to needle you. :D |

I'm getting that ecrew/icrew nastygram pop-up when I sign in that I have to change my pass word (again). YGTBFSM! Why is it that Fidelity is fine with not changing it, my credit card companies are fine with it being the same (for a decade), my bank is okay with it, but Delta the most technologically challenged company of the bunch, requires it be changed every 90 days. ARRRGH! Does anyone have a method to fix this once and for all? Please PM me a solution! |

The only solution I could figure, to be able to remember my new password, was to use my standard password, and then add the number 1 at the front, or at the end. Then, 3mo. from now, change only that number, to 2, and so on. Now, obviously that will only work for 9 cycles, but at least that will give me time to come up with something else I can remember, or maybe DT will FIX IT before I run out of ideas. |
