That was exactly my point in my prior post. He's no better than any before...and at this point he stands to crush our industry. Not a fan

any crews laid over in BOS since this stay inside alert thing? Heard everything was closed but were we staying at our normal downtown BOS overnight or did we go elsewhere?

Call it "SSI" for lack of detail on a public forum, but our crews are being accomodated well and DAL CTS/CS/CT did a good job handling the situation.

Hmmm,....I wasn't accommodated very well when we landed 3 1/2 hours late in MIA last week due to a mechanical in ATL. No pickup at the airport and nobody answering the phone. Had to take a taxi after *****ing with CR for 45 minutes and arranging our own hotel for a 10 hour layover. Wax on, wax off. But it was bad.

Buzz, please take the time to write up MIA transportation as it really sux! I've waited over 45 minutes for them to show up and ended up in a cab but finding a cab past 0000 at most airports is difficult to say the least.
Allied airbus or transportation is **** poor at not locations and MIA is one if the worst.

For you weather fans, there is this 1-2 hour special on NOVA about weather and how it all works together. The Antarctica weather system and circulation and salt creation is so intriguing.

Sounds similar to my MIA layover in Jan. Rerouted to MIA with 29 minute turn and aircraft swap in ATL - finally get to the listed hotel.

"Delta? They don't layover here anymore." Crew accommodations is adamant we do and have 15 rooms a night - end story - We don't layover there anymore and have to get a cab to the other hotel, on a 8+20 overnight. Got 8 behind the door but not much else.

The long eared one has it right ... cut off Florida (at least for crew hotels and transportation) if you can.

If anyone interested, here is a good recap of the actual negotiations and how they failed. There was a deal, Obama reneged; that marginalized the moderates who had managed to split the gap.

... and mind you, Frontline is PBS ... even an honest liberal will call this ....

Cliffhanger | FRONTLINE | PBS

Again Mods, my apologies. This is a political issue which effects the health of our employment. Either side could move, but when you marginalize the moderates things get worse.
