I've wondered as well, unless folks have sugar mommas. What happens when this summers gets tight and people are no longer able to drop at all and really need to?

Thx

Denny

What it means is to do a domestic leg you need 24 hrs of rest and they will assign it if they assign you a domestic leg.

NewK, for the mortal pilots here icrew says acknowledge crew rest. For you it should say acknowledge wait.

Because Newk doesn't sleep, he waits.

This is not correct. Checking yes means you will be awarded a trip for the next day if one has fallen into the pot. Trips that would appear in open time for the same day are required to be covered when they come available. They are not held for the window. All same day coverage is done manually. If you do check yes you are responsible for checking for trip awards. Crew scheds does not have to call you if the trip is awarded via PCS>

Thanks Sailing. I have a qualifier of 24 hours to report from initial notification so I guess it doesn't matter if I select yes or no, or does it?

Well, what they are supposed to do and what has been done are two different things.

I've checked my schedule and the only reserve rest period listed is 1030 17 apr to 0030 18 apr which is weird because I went on short call on 18 apr at 1030.

This is why I was wondering if I needed to get 24 hours off before going on a trip if I get assigned one. Thx

Denny

He's guaranteeing flow-ups to all the furloughed Comair guys if we send him our merger refund checks.

Ok. It might say that. Normally, I just put in my password without reading it -- anxious to see how bad the damage is.
