There is a YouTube on that one. Just as horrific.

Good article about Delta and China with respect to slot times, ability to fly to secondary cities, etc...

I had cargo pallets break free on a fully loaded C-141 once on takeoff. It was a handful. Closest I've ever come to crashing. The CG change alone is unfathomable. Fortunately, I was still on the runway and delayed my rotation. I can't imagine it happening on departure.

Guys, I have a question about pay during training. I am starting school in June and I have 1 week of vacation. Is it better to bid reserve and collect ALV-2 plus vacation or a bid a line?

If you have vacation then training later in the month, i'd go for the line. You can shoot your pay through the roof with taking the line and then slipping.

I hit 107 hours this month holding a line plus vacation... I was tired, so I didn't take the GS on sunday.. but that 107 could have been 128.

I walked in from running sound for an event tonight, and my wife had bought (unprompted) a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada for me during her grocery run.

Jackpot.

She's a keeper.

That requires dropping inefficient trips and trading for more efficient- and where possible picking up (WS/GS).

Good luck!

My last run at it was in 2010. Had 2 108 hour months in a row! Then I got stuck on perennial reserve....
