Well, if anything, it relieves any stress on my body. :)

Farts are just the escaping souls of the animals we eat.

Anyone think this will lead to more intl flying for Delta pilots?

I don't.

Just remember...there's no more money for this contract (cant offer more money...just need to figure out how to divide what is offered or give something up to get another thing)...Giving up workrules that add productivity will have little to no affect on staffing....if we pass C2012 we will likely begin the process of hiring this fall (2012)....breathing new life into RJ outsourcing 2.0 is good for Delta pilots, JV agreements and code sharing is flying Delta pilots could never do anyway....moving the lookback for fuzzy math shared flying to 3 years is something that needed to happen and should never have required pilot endorsement.... LM is not running for national president. Constructive engagement is a 50/50, split down the middle type of operation...your union knows what's best better than you do. As you were.

The 757 has a fart shield too, that's a problem.

... unless you go to Qdoba and order a ground beef burrito with sour cream and quac ($1.40 extra or something) then put it in your bag, wait 3 days and then pull it out, eat it and see what happens.

The fart shield on the 757 was a thing of brilliance. Once you found the proper positioning of the gasper, no one had to deal with your own stench. It went someplace. I don't know where, but I assume it ended up in the seats of DC-9 pilots.

Another piece of positive news for Delta Pilots...

ATLANTA (TheStreet) -- Analysts are applauding Delta's (DAL_) move to fashion a new model of an airline that can compete for investor dollars.

The carrier said Wednesday it will restore its dividend, repurchase shares, continue to reduce debt and carefully manage capital expenditures, prompting JP Morgan analyst Jamie Baker to write in a report Wednesday that "any deployment of cash that benefits stakeholders and leaves less for manufacturers and pilots to pursue must be viewed positively."

I am sure we can all rest knowing DALPA is working hard on the following...

In regards to the latest Capital Deployment Plan, what groups are still getting pensions?

Is the extra pension funding for current retirees who are still collecting pension payments, or is paying off some type of pension-related debt?

I was under the impression that most, if not all, employee pension programs were done with.
