The 737-900 pay rate is higher than it was in 2008. What would you be saying if it was still there? When has an aggressive pay raise request ever worked? How did that work for APA? Southwest pilots work harder. You could bid the 717 and be senior.

Did I miss any?

Yeah, you totally went off the rails concerning my comment. Let me spell it out for you Lon-gevity-based-pay. If management wants to then fly Cessna 172s, I do not care, it will cost them the same. If they want to buy 500 747s... I still don't care.

If Boog123 missed your intent... he's the only one, T.

We'll stipulate to that fact T2 is on record (again and again) as being for longevity-based pay, your honor...

I don't get the arguments against LGBP. We all complain about stagnation or downward displacements. To me this is all alleviated withLGBP. It also completely rewards seniority. If Cal Flannigan wanted to do island turns on a 757 it would have cost him $40/hr or more. With LGBP he bids what he wants. It costs him nothing. Company gets rid of all WBs costs us nothing. Company adds 200 WBs it costs them nothing more.

Crew planning news June 4, 2013 paraphrased: preliminary plan over next 12 months is to retire 10 757s plus 6 more 757s in last half of 2014. In 2015, 15-20 more 757s will be retired. As a result, we have a 7ER pilot surplus...

Johnso's BS campaign crashes into the actuall numbers, Ouch!

You just explained why LBP is a bad idea. It deprives us of the means to capture the benefits of higher productivity aircraft. Whether the company wants to add seats without paying us, or keep seats constant, the choice is theirs.
