Yikes. Let the hiring begin to do away with the GSs.

I'm guessing that they finally hit that cost/benefit point where they realized that they're paying more in GSs and lost revenue (CXs) that hiring will be a cheaper alternative. It looks like they realized that a couple months too late though.

Say's the video is not avail. :( So when you say they hit hard do you mean you saw the video of the landing?

Yes... too bad they pulled it down. They pulled the power to idle while crossing the expressway... there was no touchdown and derotate. It was just an impact and immediate gear collapse.

Media keeps saying "gear collapse". Like they landed and then it collapsed.
So this was not a mechanical problem with the gear?
They crashed it on the runway?

Here's someone videoing the video:

There was no report of any malfunction to ATC prior to them becoming disabled on the runway.

Not really a hostility, but the halftruth is bothering ppl in the know.
General public and ALPA is under impression that NWA HR was doing actual hiring at Compass, which is incorrect.

Compass hiring was done by Compass HR, newly formed and trained, with an exNWA medically retired pilot (great guy) sitting in during the interviews.

That's the fact. Is typing this too condescending and snobby of me? So-so sorry that is not what I mean.

It doesn't change anything and I am sure they did their best to select great people, but that was not NWA selection.
Time will tell. If they are not pulling their weight there will be no mercy, that's the mood in the office.

Don't shoot the messenger.
