Thank you all for the feed back! I'm wondering how the company will handle the summons, it states JD from 19 Aug - 06 Sept! I will report back tomorrow with details.

I hope it works the same in your home state...It turns jury duty notice into a bonus vacation week.

I have to throw the BS flag on this post, the 4 aircraft named have always been rumored as has the Aug order date.

When I get the new notice with Chriatmas week, I send that to the company and Walla, no workie on Christmas week. The big bonus is that no lawyer or judge is going to work that week either and you never get called.
freaking briliant..m so okay mods delete this please! so not everyone except those who saw it will use it...

83 hrs of straight res flying and I still had 2 days of CQ on top of that.

thank goodness for the cq or id been out on a 4 day instead of a 3 day helping to keep hiring to a minimum.

I wonder what alv+15 cost in upgrades and hiring?

What is the staffing per plane on the 330's and 777's?

Be careful. It doesn't always work. I tried it in CA a few years ago and they gave me the week before Christmas making me available to fly over Christmas. Got jammed with a four day and missed the whole thing.

We staff by the block hour, but its around 20 pilots per plane on the 330 and 777.

You must be on an International category, we were told the ALV+15 concessionary giveaway will not effect domestic reserve pilots.

Really? So if we get 10 more widebodies it would only mean another 200 pilots? Ugh.
